The 1995 Greek representative Elina Konstantopoulou will join Constantinos Christoforou on stage to perform Ela ela in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest. Elina Konstantopoulou replaces Helena Patroklou who resigned from doing the backing vocals. Four dancers will accompany the act, choreographed by Fotis Nicolaou.
Elina Konstantopoulou is no stranger to the Eurovision Song Contest. She represented Greece at the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Pia prosefhi. In Dublin, Ireland, she finished 12th.
Elina Konstantopoulou replaces Helena Patroklou who represented Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1991. As we announced about a month ago, Helena Patroklou resigned from doing the backing vocals in the 2005 Cypriot entry.
Four additional dancers/backing vocalists will be on stage to perform the Cypriot song. The act of Ela ela is a choreography of Fotis Nicolaou. Constantinos Christoforou featuring Elina Konstantopoulou will perform Ela ela in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 21st May in Kyiv.
