Alexis Kostalas to give the Greek points

Traditionally, Alexis Kostalas will give the Greek points at this year's Eurovision Song Contest. He's doing the job since 1998 and 'called' from Athens in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004.

Alexis Kostalas was born in Athens and studied Economy and Philology in the United States. He has also studied piano and music with Maria Konstantinou. He is one of the oldest employees of ERT and now a member of the board of ERT SA. He is also member of EBU's Music and Dance Experts and member of the Municipality of Kalamata (southern Greek city) as representative of the Ministry of Culture. In the past, Kostalas was member of the National Theater Comittee and in the Athens Festival Comittee.
