Double weekend webcast on Eurovil

Israeli broadcaster IBA offers a special treat to Eurovision fans over its official Eurovision Song Contest website Eurovil: the full length Eurovision Song Contest of 1973 and a selection of Kdam-Eurovision videos.

Israel's first Eurovision entry was back in 1973 when Ilanit took the stage in Luxembourg with Ey-Sham, and finished 4th, just after the United Kingdom's Cliff Richard. Anne Marie David won once again for Luxembourg. This is a good enough reason for Eurovil to broadcast that competition in its full length this weekend (starting this evening!).

In addition, Eurovil offers this weekend a webcast of the content of Passport to Europe– a special DVD featuring the best of past Kdam-Eurovision contests (non winners). Among the artists you can watch the 1998 Eurovision winner, Dana International, in her 1995 attempt at the Kdam, The 1990 entrant Rita with her 1986 entry at the national final, and Yardena Arazi (Eurovision presenter of 1979 and the entrant in 1988) in her other attempts in the Kdam-Eurovision contests of 1982, 1983 and 1985.
