The Swedish participant Martin Stenmarck is on his way to… Las Vegas! The objective; to shoot a new video for his Eurovision Song Contest entry Las Vegas. Stenmarck is confident that this will do the 'trick' and that it will give him the extra boost he needs for success at the contest.

The producers of the video want to catch as much of the famous neon-lights atmosphere in Las Vegas as possible. The video will be recorded at night on the famous main boulevard, the 'strip'. Martin's team is confident that the video will be important for his Eurovision Song Contest success. “It will be a secret weapen for the outcome of the televoting”, the Swedish newspaper Expressen quoted.

For Martin, who visits Las Vegas for the first time, it's also an opportunity to get to know the atmosphere in the casino city. “It's fascinating, the casinos, the lights and all the things you have heard about this place”, he said. “I have always dreamt about visiting Las Vegas, it's a fantastic city”.

About his chances: “I know that my song is superb and my stage show will be of an excellent quality. That might take me far”, a confident Martin Stenmarck said. Martin Stenmarck is number 14 to perform in the final of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest, on 21st May in Kyiv.
