For the Belgian Junior Eurovision Song Contest selections, the Flemish VRT host Ilse Van Hoecke and the Walloon RTBF host Jean-Louis Lahaye will see for the presentation. It's the first time the whole of Belgium will be selecting a Eurovision song. Therefore Eurokids 2005 will consist of three bilingual shows in Flemish and French.

Ilse Van Hoecke
Both Ilse Van Hoecke and Jean-Louis Lahaye have experience with the Belgian Junior Eurovision Song Contest selections. Ilse Van Hoecke co hosted Eurosong for Kids in Flanders in 2003, together with Bart Peeters. Furthermore she commented the two previous editions of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest on TV1, the first channel of VRT, recently restyled and renamed to één.

Jean-Louis Lahaye
Jean-Louis Lahaye was the main host of Eurokids 2004, last year in Wallonia. Jean-Louis Lahaye is hosting several TV shows such as Les allumés.be, Seul contre tous, Cap 48 and Coup de film. Furthermore he has a radio show on Vivacité.

Eurokids 2005
Eurokids 2005 will consist of two semifinals and a final. Each semifinal will feature three Dutch speaking and three French speaking participants in bilingual shows. The mother tongue of the participants however doesn't restrict the choice of language for the song. All participants are allowed to sing in one of Belgium's three official languages: Dutch, French or German.

Eurosong 2006
Since RTBF saw for the Belgian song for 2005 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, VRT already started preparing for the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest. In the margin of the announcement of the Eurokids 2005 hosts, VRT announced that Bart Peeters will be hosting Eurosong 2006, the Flemish Eurovision Song Contest selections. It will be his fourth consecutive time. Bart Peeters also hosted the previous editions of Eurosong in 1999, 2002 and 2004. Next to that, he also hosted the Dutch Nationaal Songfestival in 1997.

On 26th November, the third edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Hasselt, Belgium.
