Ehud Manor, who wrote the lyrics of many Israeli Eurovision entries and Kdam-Eurovision songs, died this morning of heart attack, at age 64.

Ehud Manor wrote the lyrics to and many Israeli Eurovision entries, including the 1978 Eurovision winner Abanibi, the 1983 Israeli entry Hi, 1992's Ze Rak Sport and the 2004 entry, Leha'amin, which he co-wrote with David D'Or. His last Eurovision project was the 2005 Kdam-Eurovision entry, Zman.

Ehud Manor was one of the most respectable writers in Israel. When he was frequently asked about his connection with the Eurovision Song Contest, he always defended and praised the song contest, against whoever spoke against it. Ehud Manor died of heart attack early this morning, at the age of 64.
