Life has been pretty hectic for Javine, since winning the United Kingdom final “Making Your Mind Up” on 5th March. This week she filmed the video for her single Touch my fire, which she co-wrote herself, along with Greek Cypriot composer John Themis, and will be aired for the first time next weekend. The single will be released by Island Records on 16th May.

This Sunday, Javine flies out to Greece for a week long promotional tour there. She will be making various television and radio appearances in order to gain support for her Eurovision entry.

The last few weeks have been spent doing loads of press shoots, as well as rehearsing for the video. The magazines she has done shoots and interviews for include: FHM, Marie Claire, Sugar, Smash Hits, Attitude, Company and the Top Of The Pops magazine. esctoday.com also hopes to bring you an exclusive interview with Javine, as she prepares for the contest.

A full TV campaign including cd:uk and Top Of The Pops will start next week. She also plans to perform her song at various clubs in the United Kingdom, and will be headlining the Urban Music Festival in aid of the Princes Trust on 16th April.

Javine will perform second in the running order with Touch my fire for the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest final on 21st May in Kiev.
