The official Eurovision Song Contest website of Israel's broadcaster IBA continues to surprise the Eurovision Song Contest fans. This weekend, the 1979 Eurovision Song Contest, held in Jerusalem, can be watched on IBA's Eurovision website Eurovil.
In 1978, Izhar Cohen & Alphabeta won the Eurovision Song Contest in Paris with the song A-ba-ni-bi. As a result, the Eurovision circus moved to Israel the year after. In Jerusalem, Israel was successful once again as Gali Atari, Milk & Honey offered their country a second consecutive victory with the song Hallelujah.
