FYR Macedonia’s 2012 Eurovision representative Kaliopi has released the videoclip of her latest song Melem. Kaliopi is a superstar in FYR Macedonia where she enjoys great success, fame and glory.

Kaliopi represented FYR Macedonia at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Crno i belo. Lady luck was not on her side in 1996 when the multi talented artist didn’t qualify for the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest in the preliminary semifinal, hence if she would have qualified she would have been the 1st ever artist to represent FYR Macedonia. Kaliopi bid to represent FYR Macedonia with Samo ti in 1996. A total of 7 countries had to stay at home as they didn’t qualify for the Eurovision Song Contest final in Oslo in 1996: FYR Macedonia, Russia, Israel, Germany, Romania, Hungary and Denmark.
