Magazin tops second Croatian semifinal

The second semifinal of Dora 2005 took place tonight. Magazin and Luka Nižetić & klapa Nostalgija topped the final results with 16 points each. Five more songs proceed to tomorrow's final. We say goodbye to Giuliano and Ivana Kindl.

These are the results of Dora 2005 – Semifinal 1:

4 – 13 points | Ivana Radovniković – Ponesi me
5 – 9 points | Goran Karan – Bijele zastave
6 – 8 points | Vesna Pisarović – Probudi mi ljubav
7 – 8 points | 4 asa – Ja nemam prava

Could not qualify for the final:

8 – 5 points | Giuliano – Ljubav pobjeduje
9 – 2 points | Ivana Kindl – Tvoja ljubav meni pripada

A jury and televoting decided the outcome of the second Dora 2005 semifinal and awarded 1 up to 9 points. Among tonight's semifinalists were many known faces. Three of them already represented Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest. Magazin & Lidija reached the 6th place with the song Nostalgija in 1995. In 2000 Goran Karan finished 9th with the song Kada zaspu andeli and most recently in 2002, Vesna Pisarović (pictured) reached the 11th place for Croatia with the song Everything I want.

In the final, to take place tomorrow, the 14 songs will be performed. A three-member jury (50%) and televoting (50%) will decide which 3 songs would have the best chances in Kiev. Televoting only will then select one of the 3 songs to represent Croatia at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest.
