Katie Price (Jordan) has emerged as the clear favourite to win tomorrow night's United Kingdom final “Making Your Mind Up” with her song Not Just Anybody, with both William Hill and Ladbrokes bookmakers.

While Kate Price is the favourite with both leading bookmakers, at the other end of the betting scale both make the former United Kingdom entrant Gina G with her song Flashback the outsider to lift the title this year. Both also make Andy Scott Lee with his entry Guardian Angel the second favourite in their betting.

Katie Price will also have the perceived advantage of performing fifth and last in the running order, although over the years in the United Kingdom finals the order of the draw has not appeared to make much difference to the final outcome. Possibly having Katie Price perform last is an attempt to keep the audience figures high throughout the programme.

These odds of course reflect the amount of money that has been placed on each artist to win, rather than any skill on the part of the bookmakers in predicting the winner. They have been known to be notoriously wrong in the past!

The final of “Making Your Mind Up” will be broadcast live from BBC Television Centre on BBC1 from 17.45 (18.45 CET) tomorrow night. The results will be broadcast live at 20.20 (21.20 CET).
