Hungarian broadcaster MTV has announced the songs to compete in the Hungarian national final on 13th March in Budapest. MTV received 37 songs and selected 12 of them to take part in a televised show.

These are the 12 participants in the Hungarian final:

02. Sushi Train – Húzz közel
03. LOLA – Szerelem
04. Mester Tamás – Szabadítsd fel
05. Crystal – Összetört a szívem
06. Acapulco – Szép ez a világ
07. NOX – Forogj világ
08. Karányi – Álomszép
09. Ambrus Rita – Együtt
10. Baby Gabi és Lala – Van egy kulcs
11. Judy – Holnaptól
12. Bizek Emi – Túl az út felén

MTV received 37 songs, 12 of them have been selected by a 5 member professional jury to take part in the Hungarian national final on 13th March in Budapest. The list mainly includes famous names since having released at least one song before was one of the conditions to be allowed to participate.

A jury and televoting will select who'll represent Hungary at its Eurovision Song Contest comeback. Hungary last took part in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1998, when Charlie finished 23rd with the song A holnap már nem lesz szomorù.
