Half of the postcards for this year's Eurovision Song Contest are ready. The theme of the postcards is, just like for the contest itself, a modern fairytale.

The so-called postcards are the short introduction movies before each song. At the very first beginning of the Eurovision Song Contest, the EBU thought this would be a great item to fill up the time between the artists. The name 'postcard' came from the time the short clip was a small introduction to each country, but that changed due to the growing creativaty and an increasement of possibilities the past years.

The script-writers for this year's postcards are Kaido Veermäe and Rene Reinumägi.
