Lebanon goes French at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev! Aline Lahoud will sing the song Quand tout s'enfuit (When everything escapes), a song written by Jad Rahbani and Romeo Lahoud.

The final decision has been made. Lebanon will sing in French at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev. Quand tout s'enfuit is the title of the song to be performed by Lebanese singer Aline Lahoud in the first ever Eurovision Song Contest participation of the country.

The composition and the arrangements of Quand tout s'enfuit are by Jad Rahbani. The lyrics have been written by Romeo Lahoud. “As you know, French is our second language and Lebanon is one of the leaders in the Francophonie,” explains Jad Rahbani to esctoday.com. “Aline likes singing in French a lot so I want her to be 'à l'aise' as we say it in French.” (à l'aise = at ease)

One of our editors had an exclusive interview with Aline Lahoud and composer Jad Rahbani. Tomorrow we will publish the entire interview on esctoday.com!
