Serbia & Montenegro: Knez withdraws

23 songs instead of the initially planned 24 song will compete in the Serbian semifinal Beovizija. Knez, who was supposed to participate with the song Kocka šećera has withdrawn his song from the competition. Tomorrow night, an eight-member jury and televoting will decide which 14 songs proceed to the national final in Serbia & Montenegro.

Beovizija 2005, the Serbian semifinal, will be held at the Sava Center of Belgrade, and will be broadcast live by RTS 1 (Serbia), RTCG 1 (Montenegro), RTRS (Bosnia & Herzegovina) and by satellite programs RTS Sat and RTCG Sat. The broadcast starts at 21.00 CET and can as well be watched live on the internet.

After Knez withdrew the song Kocka šećera, 23 songs are left in the competition. These are the 23 song for the Serbian semifinal Beovizija 2005:

Special guests in Beovizija 2005 are Željko Joksimović, last year's representative of Serbia & Montenegro, and Emilija Kokić, who won the Eurovision Song Contest for Yugoslavia in 1989 as lead singer of Riva.
