Right before the show we spoke with Johnny Logan, who won the Eurovision Song Contest three times. We are quite convinced that most of you know this by heart, but for those who don't know: 'Mr. Eurovision' won the contest with What's another year in 1980 for Ireland, did the same in 1987 with Hold me now and wrote Linda Martin's winning song!

50 years
Logan told us he's looking forward to the 50th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. If he will be present in Kiev? “I don't know in fact, if they invite me I will be there”, he said. The singer/songwriter already has been invited for the 50th anniversary show to sing What's another year and Hold me now.

Album in 2006
A new album of Johnny Logan can be found in the German stocks at this moment. “I will start writing new songs this year for an album to be released in 2006”, he said.
