TRT, the Turkish national broadcaster has informed and confirmed to Esctoday.com that Turkey will compete at the forthcoming 2013 Eurovision Song Contest next May in Malmö.
TRT informed Esctoday.com that with the approval of the TRT Board of Council, TRT is going to attend Eurovision Song Contest 2013. The method and mechanisn TRT will use to select its entry and reprensentative is yet to be revealed.
Turkey debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1975 with Semiha Yanki’s Seninle Bir Dakika. Turkey won the contest in 2003 with Sertab Erener’s Every Way That I can and successfully hosted the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest on home soil in Istanbul.
