The Ukrainian broadcaster NTU launched their national selection for next year’s Eurovision Song Contest with a call for songs. The interested artists can now send their entries to the broadcaster before the official deadline set to December 22nd.

A jury consisting of seven members, all of them involved in the music industry, will listen to all the submitted songs and will decide on the 20 acts that will compete in the televised final to be held on February 16th. The winner will be chosen by a combination of jury and tele voting.

Unlike last year, NTU will not grant any wildcards to additional performers in the national final.

I was born on March 27th 1992 in Bucharest, Romania. When I was 13 years old, I watched the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest accidentally and since then I have been a big fan of this amazing European celebration. I'm working for Esctoday.com since 2006 and I'm very proud to be part of this wonderful team.
