As from next week, Israeli radio listeners will be able to listen to the 14 songs which are in contention to represent Israel in the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest, making this the first time when the Kdam-Eurovision songs are revealed prior to the contest itself.

For the first time in the history of the Kdam-Eurovision, the 14 entries which will compete for the right to represent Israel this year, will be broadcast in a special radio show on IBA's Reshet Gimmel station, on Tuesday February 15th as from 11.00 am local time. In addition, all these entries will be included in Reshet Gimmel's daily playlist until the Kdam-Eurovision itself, on March 2nd.

Reshet Gimmel will also broadcast a special programme on Saturday February 26th as a tribute to the return of the Kdam-Eurovisiom, featuring this year's, and past entries, and interviews with this year's competing singers.

Israel's 2005 entry will be selected by a mixture of a televoting, internet voting and several jury panels across the country. Israel will take part in the Eurovision Song Contest semifinal on May 19th.
