Latvia held its second semifinal on Saturday night. Walters & Kazha won the televoting of the second semifinal, followed by Ksenija and Agnese & Intars. The jury selected two more songs to proceed to the final. The ten songs that will compete for the Latvian ticket to the Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev are known now.

The three songs which received the most televotes made their way to the final. The professional jury completed the list with 2 of their favourites. These are the results of the second Latvian semifinal:

2 – 5693 votes | Ksenija – In the heat of the night
3 – 4466 votes | Agnese & Intars – Sing it! Swing it!

As the jury and the televoters had the same favourites, the jury forwarded their runners up to the final:

The final of Eirodziesma 2005 will be held on 26th February, in the town of Ventspils. The winner of the Latvian final will take part in the semifinal of 2005 Eurovision Song Contest.
