16 year-old Andreea Proteasa in MGP 2005

The sixth finalist in Norway is known. Sixteen year old Romanian born girl Andreea Proteasa, will make her debut in Melodi Grand Prix 2005. This will also be her first participation for a greater audience in Norway.

Norwegian broadcaster NRK has announced the sixth participant for Melodi Grand Prix 2005. Andreea Proteasa will participate with the song Kingdom come. The song cannot be described as a typical Melodi Grand Prix song but as a beautiful song with a message to the world.

Andreea Proteasa is only sixteen years old. She was born in Romania but has lived in Norway since she was three years old. Andreea has been singing as long as she remembers. Previously she has been participating in various talent shows and for other smaller occasions in Norway.

About her debut in Melodi Grand Prix 2005 she says: “I dont have big expectations but I hope it will be a nice experience as it is my debut in MGP and also my first time in front of such a huge audience. It makes me really happy!” Beside participating in Melodi Grand Prix her plan for the nearest future is to get in to Paul Mc Cartney�s famous music school LIPA in Liverpool and be able to make a living of music.

Norwegian broadcaster NRK has now revealed six of total eight participants in Melodi Grand Prix 2005. This is the line-up for Melodi Grand Prix 2005 so far:

1. Cheezy Keys – Feel the beat
2. Blissed – You are the one
3. Jahn Teigen – song not yet chosen
4. Jorun Erdal – I am rock 'n roll
5. Kathrina Strugstad – Velvet blue
6. Andreea Proteasa – Kingdom come

The Norwegian national final Melodi Grand Prix 2005 takes place on 5th March 2005.
