Yardena Arazi & Dana International, two Israeli Eurovision Divas, has released a new song called Kshe’hagvarim Rokdim (When the men dance). The new song has became a local summer hit, being played no less than 130 times in the local radio stations during the last week.

The lyrics were written by Yoav Ginai, who wrote the lyrics for Dana’s winning entry back in 1998, Diva, and also the 2002 Israeli entry, Light a candle. Except for being a songwriter, Yoav also had the role of the Israeli spokeperson in 1998-2001.

The music was composed by Yehuda Poliker, a well known Israeli artist and composer. He is known for his greek roots, which can be easily heard in his songs.

Yardena Arazi first appeared on the Eurovision stage back in 1976, as part of the Chocolate, Menta, Mastik trio. In 1979, she had presented the contest live from Jerusalem, and came back for the third time in 1988 as a singer again, with her song Ben Adam.

Dana International has won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1998 with the song Diva, and tried her luck for the second time in 2011, where her song Ding Dong has failed qualifying to the final.
