Svante Stockselius, Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest, has confirmed that tickets for the upcoming 50th Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev will go on sale through the official website eurovision.tv on Monday 21st February 2005.

Tickets will be available for the rehearsals as well as for the semifinal and final to take place on Thursday 19th May 2005 and Saturday 21st May 2005 respectively. Further news on ticket pricing will be made available shortly.

With more than 10.000 people expected to attend the contest as fans, as well as thousands of singers, delegation members and journalists, there is likely to be a battle for the best accommodation. Those planning on a trip to the Eurovision Song Contest are adviced to book accommodation once they purchase their tickets.
