As Moldovan broadcaster TVM informed esctoday.com, the Moldovan final will be held on 26th February. TVM will internally select 12 up to 15 songs to take part in the final.

On 6th February, TVM will judge all songs submitted for the first ever Moldovan Eurovision Song Contest selectsions. The day after, on 7th February, a draw will be done in order to determine the line-up of the final for which, depending on the number of submitted songs, 12 up to 15 songs will be selected.

The Moldovan final will be held on 26th February. The song to represent Moldova at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest will be selected by a jury and public voting. As a newcomer at the contest, Moldova will take part in the semifinal on 19th May in Kiev.
