The winning song of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest is already enjoying success in various charts across the continent. This year Sweden won the Eurovision Song Contest for the 5th time and shares the same record of victories with France, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom. The first act to win Europe’s favorite TV show for Sweden was the band ABBA with the song Waterloo. The remaining four victories were claimed by the Herreys (1984), Carola (1991), Charlotte Perrelli (1999) and most recently Loreen (2012).
