On Malta, the 22 finalists for Malta Song for Europe have been revealed. Participants can only sing one song, so if an artist has two songs in the selection, he/she should either choose to find another performer or to withdraw with one song. In that case, a reserve song will replace it. The list with final changes will be made available on 17th January.

Chiara, Fabrizio, Eleonora Cassar, The Mics, Pamela and Glen Vella all have more than one song in the selection, which means that the final list of participants might look quite different from the one above.
The final takes place on 19th February, at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta.
