Maltasong officially announced the titles of the 50 participating songs of Malta Song for Europe. The semifinal will be held next Saturday 8th January at the Golden Tulip Vivaldi Hotel, St. Julians. From the semifinal 22 songs will make it to the final, which will be held on Saturday 19th February at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta.

Here are the 50 songs selected for the first selection round. 22 songs will make it to the final on 19th February.

Martin Gauci of Maltasong explained to our colleagues from eurosong.be that four songs have been replaced since the provisional list became public. Due to the fact that an artist can perform only one song during the television final, some songs are being performed by other artists, while others withdrew. Four songs from the reserve list were added.
