As we reported on New Years Day, the provisional list of UK entrants that appeared on oikotimes.com has been described as “A work of fiction” by Dominic Smith, the BBC Head of Delegation.
The list had included several well known names, such as Alcazar, Lemar, Katie Price (aka Jordan), Luke Galliana, 2 To Go and comprised ten acts and song titles in total. esctoday.com got in touch with the BBC to find out whether this list was indeed accurate, and we can confirm that it has turned out to be fictitious.
The BBC has promised to announce the real list of songs and artists soon, and we will report this as soon as they are revealed.
