The Portuguese broadcaster RTP announced they will select the participant for next year the same way as Spain does this year.
Just like the Spanish TVE did in cooperation with Gestmusic, this same record company will organise the Portuguese version of the show.
As an example, RTP will broadcast a subtitled version of Operación Triunfo 2001-2002 next year.
