Tayana has won the third Ukrainian semifinal and proceeds to the national final in which the Ukrainian representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 will be chosen. With the song Ottay, Tayana came out as winner after a televoting in which every single vote turned out to be important.

These are the results of the third semifinal in Ukraine:

1 – 21.64% | Tayana – Ottay
2 – 20.45% | Julia Zabrodskaya – Na Ivana, Na Kupala
3 – 19.50% | Julia Pryadko – Ti Prosto Est V Moey Sudbe
4 – 19.26% | Mihalyo Sanin – Ya Vernus
5 – 19.15% | Radio SSB – Play

Only 2.5% divides winner Tayana from the number 5 in this semifinal. Tayana is the third singer to proceed to the national final. Earlier Stand.up and NeDilya qualified.
