Yesterday, Poland ended last at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest for the second consecutive time. KWADro finished last with the song Lap zycie, together with Latvia. According to KWADro, their bad results have political reasons.
“We were told that it is all about politics when it comes to the voting system at the Eurovision Song Contest. Supposing Poland had better political relations with other countries, we would have received more points“, said Dominika Rydz, one of the members of KWADro.
“The voting was a horrible time for us! It was a really sad moment, though we suspected that could happen. But despite our result, we are still satisfied with our performance at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest because we did our best and sang as good as we could. That is what really counts here! I would like to thank all the people who supported us in our efforts,” said Dominika.
KWADro only managed to gain 3 points (1 point from Belarus and 2 points from France), and repeated the result of last years Polish contestant Kasia Zurawik, who ended last with 3 points as well, with her song Cos mnie nosi.
