Wednesday: esctoday.com revamps!

Rumours were already going around for quite a while and we can finally say: yes, they are true! Wednesday evening – an exact time is unknown yet – esctoday.com will launch a totally revamped website!

During the past months, the esctoday.com team prepared a new design (yes, even the flags have been redesigned manually!) which suits the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest. After implementation of the new design on a restricted test location, we started to improve the website and to develop new features. One of the new features is the opportunity for esctoday.com members to open their own fan profile! Our forum at escforum.com will also be revamped into the new colours.

Behind the scenes some structural changes took place. To handle all our email traffic more efficiently, our developer team built a contact centre, through which website visitors can submit news, questions and comments. The system knows where to deliver a certain message! By appointing several European regions to specific editors, our aim is to be more accurate and quick.

Together with the new website, esctoday.com also welcomes a new partner: the Swedish website gylleneskor.se.

Because it takes some time to install the new website, esctoday.com might be unavailable for some time on Wednesday. Though, we will try to keep the downtime as low as possible. We will inform you with a member mailing as soon as the new website is up and running! If you are not yet a member, please subscribe here. It's free!
