The Maltese sisterly-duo Charlene & Natasha have won Amber Star 2004, an international song festival of pop music which is held annually in Jurmala, Latvia. Charlene and Natasha Grima have taken part 4 times at Malta Song for Europe, the Maltese preselections for the Eurovision Song Contest.

The Maltese sisters Charlene and Natasha Grima have won Amber Star 2004. Charlene and Natasha were the first Maltese artists to reach the finals of the song festival, organised in Jurmala, Latvia, and impressed on the first night with the song Sejjahtli, sejjahtlek. On top of that all, Charlene and Natasha were given the award for 'best song', 'best original composition' and 'best stage performance'.

On the second night of the festival, Charlene and Natasha sang A simple wish, their entry for Malta Song for Europe 2004. The Grima sisters were very excited about their victory: “It is a great honour for us and for Malta that a song in Maltese was declared best song in the contest.”

Charlene and Natasha have already taken part 4 times at Malta Song for Europe, the Maltese national selection for the Eurovision Song Contests: in 1998, 1999, 2003 and 2004.
