After four internal selections France 3 will again organise a national final. At least, that is what the French magazine Télé2semaines writes. The French audience would select the song for Kiev during three shows.

According to French magazine Télé2semaines the French public will be invited to choose the song representing France at next years Eurovision Song Contest over three shows. That means that after four years of internal selections, France 3 would turn back to a national final again.

In 2000, Sofia Mestari was the last French representative who was selected during a national final, held at l'Olympia in Paris. With On aura le ciel she reached the second-to-last place in Stockholm.

Since then Natasha St-Pier, Sandrine François, Louisa Baileche and Jonatan Cerrada were all invited to represent France after an internal selection.
