Today, the 10 participants of the Dutch national selection for the second Junior Eurovision Song Contest were announced. The press conference took place in entertainment park Six Flags Holland.

The qualifier rounds take place on 11 and 18 September, the final on 25 September.
The finalists will be followed by a junior reporter and presented on television on 4 September.

� Danny – Van zingen word ik blij (singing makes me happy)
� Denise – De jungle beat (the jungle beat)
� Kika – Dansen (dancing)
� Klaartje & Nicky – Een nieuwe jongen (a new boy)
� Lorrèn – Alles wat je kan is lekker dansen (everything you can is dancing great)
� Shakira – Dansen in Afrika (dancing in Africa)
� Marnix – Het aller, aller, aller grootste hart (the biggest heart of all)
� Four Flying Elemenents (Paulo, Jesse, Khalid & Ajay) – Zo is het leven (that's the way life is)
� Four Stars (Tessa, Lisa, Lisa & Jule) – Hoi (Hi)

According to the Dutch broadcaster AVRO, responsible for the national selection of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, “the quality of the songs is high”.
