Ruslana's famous trembita, the typical Ukrainian musical instrument she used at the beginning of her act in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004, has been put up for auction in her home town Lviv, Ukraine. The proceeds of the auction, around � 2.053, will be donated to charity.

Eurovision Song Contest winner Ruslana contributed her trembita, a Hutsul folk music instrument, to a charity auction called Lions' Club.

Ruslana used the unique musical instrument on stage at the beginning of her act and considered it as her talisman at this year's Eurovision Song Contest. The price started at �61,5. After 40 minutes of outbidding, the final result of � 2.053 was reached.

All funds will be used for equipping the traffic lights in Lviv with a special musical signal for the blind.
