Ruslana welcomes the Eurovision Song Contest fans and international press to Ukraine, next year. She said that during a press conference, which just ended.

“Ukraine is a beautiful country, and I'd like to invite you to my country for next year's Eurovision Song Contest”, an overwhelmed and emotional Ruslana said. When a journalist referred to the Chernobyl reactor disaster, Ruslana said that she wants to forget what happened and she wants to show the world a beautiful Ukraine.

As reply on the doubts that raised wether Ukraine would be able to host the Eurovision Song Contest, one of the delegation members said that there are already parties that offered their support to make next year's 50th edition of the contest a success.

No surprise… Ruslana said she felt all songs and participants are winners, she loves us all and that she is proud on what she achieved today for her country.

During the press conference, some photographers were standing in front of the television cameras placed at the back, which caused anger among the camera men. An extra press conference takes place here tomorrow at 14:00 local time.
