Sanda and her delegation opened the press conference with an playback performance of “I Admit”, during this a lot of energetic jumping around was in evidence.

When asked about her thoughts of the Turkish victory in 2003, she said: “It's very close, only one hour from Romania, that's good and it's very nice. People are so kind and so warm around here. That is not a compliment, it's the reality.”

Although most questions were addressed to Sanda, it was the composer of the song who answered most questions as her English is not very good. She herself mentioned that she comes from Transylvania, after which she gave a pantomime of a vampire, and is half Hungarian.

In reaction to a question about her singing carreer, it was told that she started with piano and classic guitar and didn't think about making singing into her career. Since 1988 she has been releasing succesful records, and this year she will tour through the USA.

Sande ended the press conference with three live performances of an old Turkish song, an old Romanian and “Time To Say Goodbye”
