As known before, the Macedonian entry was mixed in the Netherlands, by one of the top mixing engineers, so they are hoping that maybe they will receive some points from the Netherlands.
Although the original version of Tose Proeski's song Angel si ti translates directly into English as You are an angel it will be performed as Life when he takes to the stage in the qualifying round of the Eurovision Song Contest. It was felt that it was difficult to do a direct translation into English, but they are happy with the text they now have of the song.
There is also a Turkish version of the song planned for the future, but admitted that it is not done yet, and that they need to find a Turkish text and lyricist to make this possible.
Earlier in the week they had sported some t-shirts with the slogan “Don't FYROM on me!” They were asked about both these and the striking coat that singer Tose Preski will be wearing on stage. The T shirts were a bit of fun, while the coat has been designed by one of the top stylists from their country who has made many popular creations. In fact, we have still to see the full final costume to be worn by Tose Proeski! He will wear long white leather frock with silver elements, white leather pants and silver snickers in Istanbul on 12th May.
The Macedonian newspaper Vest wrote that Noshpal revealed that the creation is hiding a surprise, which will be seen for first time by the television viewers and the audience in the hall. The Macedonian creator Aleksandar Noshpal and hairdresser and stylist Sreten Kostich are part of the team that helps Tose in Istanbul with the costume and make up.
FYR Macedonia participates in the qualifying round on 12th May.
