The Swedish group Alcazar, known as the performers of 'Crying at the discotheque', had to withdraw for the Melodifestivalen. They will be replaced by another candidate.

Alcazar will be launched in Japan at the same time and won't have time for the festival. Instead they are being replaced by Kayo, Blossom Tainton and Gladys del Pilar who will sing the song 'Never let it go'.

Eureka, the most successfull Swedish Eurovision site, says that Kayo has had several Swedish hits, and so has Blossom, Gladys is the only one to have participated in Melodifestivalen before, in 1994 when she was runner up with 'Det vackraste jag vet'.

Thanks to Eureka.
