Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Cyprus and Malta join the European Union tonight at midnight. During a Eurovision network broadcast tonight, the European enlargement will be celebrated in Berlin and Warschaw during Eurogala.

Neiokõsõ (Estonia 2004) Blue Café (Poland, 2004), Brainstorm (Latvia, 2000), Dalibor Jenis (Slovakia), Mikalis Hadjiyiannis (Cyprus, 1998) Cotton Club Singers (Hungary, 1997 national final), Lukas Vondracek (Czech Republic), Violeta Urmana (Lithuania) en Rozmarinke (Slovenia, EMA 2004) are the performers with a Eurovision Song Contest link that will perform tonight. There will most likely be a live connection with Malta, where Julie and Ludwig perform the official Maltese European Union song. Although Turkey is not (yet) one of the new EU members, 2003 Eurovision Song Contest winner Sertab will also perform.

The show Eurogala will be broadcasted in most countries. Check your television guide, national broadcaster's website or teletext for more information!
