It could be a double celebration for the Slovene Eurovision representatives and long time lovers Platin as they will marry whilst they are in Istanbul; the first ever Eurovision Song Contest wedding. At least, if we may believe the Slovene tabloid Lady…

They were engaged whilst taking part to the Slovene national final EMA, which they won back in February. As they finishing singing their song Stay forever, Simon placed an engagement ring on Diana�s finger.

The pair has applied for a licence to marry in Istanbul the day after they perform in the qualifier round, which means it should take place on 13th May. The ceremony will take place on a white boat just off the Istanbul coast.

Simon�s best man will be Platin�s manager Marjan Babic. Sertab Erener will stand at Diana�s side as her maid of honour. Around four hundred guests have been invited to the reception afterwards.

Even though the two Platin-singers are unhappy with the support they get from RTVSLO, and at the lack of promotion they are determined to enjoy their time in Istanbul and have a beautiful wedding. They have chosen the colour white for both the performance and of course the wedding. They are taking the white theme further by attending all rehearsals, press conferences as well as various other events in all white!
