A team of decorators is currently working on the last preparations in the Abdi İpekçi Arena, the venue of the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest. In less than three weeks, approximately 3,000 press representatives and delegation members arrive.

The street, on which the Abdi Ipekçi Arena is located, is being decorated to reflect the Eurovision Song Contest identity and atmosphere. The exterior of the Arena is being painted and the columns are being clothed with red, the colour of the Turkish flag and the heart in the Eurovision Song Contest logo.

Also, decorations inside the Arena are continuing. TRT thinks this is “the best way to welcome the guests who visit Turkey for the Eurovision Song Contest”. Soon, a team of TRT's creative department starts building the stage.
