The City Goverment of Tallinn is planning to show Eurovision Song Contest 2002 from Saku Suurhall online in the huge videoscreens in the Songfestival Arena – Lauluväljak (look the image!), townhall square or Lilleküla football stadium.

The location is not yet clear, but Songfestival Arena is one of the best candidates, because it has a huge importance among Estonians. The so-called 'singing revolution' started there in 1988.

The other events planned there are not known yet. City officials have sayed that it should be free for the guests and people of Tallinn. In 1988 300 000 people fitted to the arena.

The chairman of Tallinna Lauluväljaku AS (a firm managing the songfestival arena – esctoday.com) Riho Rõõmus sayed that next week he will send a vision, how this so called peoples-Eurovision should look like. He sayed that the evening will be obviously divided into two parts. In the first part the singers who represented Estonia in the previous contests will perform. In the second part it's possible to see live show from Saku Suurhall in the huge videoscreens.

Riho Rõõmus also proposed to make a live-reports from Songfestival Arena in the tv-broadcast.
