The last semifinal of Eurosong 2004 took place in Flanders tonight. Natalia won with her song Higher than the sun and qualifies for next week's final. Barbara Dex & Alides Hidding go through as well. With 46 points they belong to the three best scoring runners-up of all semifinals.
Natalia Druyts has won the last semifinal of Eurosong 2004. Natalia impressed with her soul voice as she sung the up-tempo song Higher than the sun. Natalia is the runner-up of Idols and already scored two enormous hits in Flanders.
Until the last votes were given, Natalia constantly changed position with Barbara Dex & Alides Hidding in a neck-and-neck race. The TV1 televoters finally gave their maximum of the points to Natalia and so One life by Barbara & Alides finished second. Barbara Dex is still in the running to represent Belgium for a second time at the Eurovision Song Contest as she goes through to the final, being one of the three best scoring runners-up.
After all four semifinals took place, all finalists are known. These are the songs that will compete next Sunday for the one and only ticket to Istanbul:
