Judith Jobse and Yellow Pearl won the second semifinal of the Dutch Nationaal Songfestival 2004. Judith Jobse performed the ballad Love me, the band Yellow Pearl the song For you and me.

Judith was chosen by the televoters with a slight majority of the votes, followed by Bas & Joel ft. Voice Male with Celeste. The jury chose for the band Yellow Pearl.

The audience present in the Amsterdam Pepsi Stage was clearly more impressed by the quality of the songs compared with last week. During the break between the show and the voting, also Mandy with Tell me why and Bas & Joel were popular.

One of the members of Voice Male was taken into the hospital last night after a heart attack and was replaced by another Voice Male singer. According to the latest information he's still at the intensive care of a hospital in Antwerp and his situation is stable.
