On 25th January, Cyprus will take it's first steps in choosing a song to represent the country at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest. An internal jury of 5 people will choose 10-12 songs out of 62 that have been submitted to broadcaster Cybc.

On 17th February a live show will broadcasted from The Pavillion Night Club hosted by Loukas Hamatsos (the person who gave the Cypriot votes last year).

The winning song will be decided by televoting.

Guest stars of the evening will include Stelios Constantas (Cyprus 2003) , Marianda Pieridi (a new Greek artist) and David D'Or (Israel 2004).
