RTBF, the Belgian French speaking national broadcaster, has announced that Sandra Kim ( Belgium 1986) will be the Belgian spokesperson during the Eurovision 2026 Grand Final voting.

Sandra Kim won the 1986 Eurovision Song Contest with her song ‘J’aime la vie‘ and gave Belgium its first and only Eurovision victory till date. This year marks the 40th anniversary of her epic Eurovision victory in Bergen, Norway. She will have the grand honour of announcing Belgium’s ‘Douze Points’ at the Eurovision 2026 Grand Final voting.

Sandra Kim says:

When it was offered to me, I  hesitated bit , because it’s quite stressful to do that in front of millions of viewers, but then I thought it was a nice nod to my victory I’m particularly proud to present the points for Belgium in this competition. See you on May 16th for the grand final

RTBF has also confirmed the Belgian commentators for Eurovision 2026: Jean-Louis Lahaye and Fanny Jandrain.

RTBF’s official press release reads:

A key voice of Eurovision, Jean-Louis Lahaye will once again be there to   bring you every moment of the Eurovision Song Contest  . This year , Fanny Jandrain joins the adventure to form a new duo alongside Jean-Louis. Well-known to viewers as the host of the daily show ” On n’est pas des pigeons ,” she recently confirmed her talent in the music world by taking the reins of the third season of “The Voice Kids .”

While this collaboration has a fresh feel, it’s not entirely new: Fanny Jandrain is already quite familiar with this type of event. In 2021, she brilliantly rose to the challenge, stepping in at the last minute for Maureen Louys  , who was unable  to attend. With her humor, spontaneity, and quick wit, there’s no doubt her chemistry with Jean-Louis Lahaye will be electrifying .
