The cat will be finally out of the bag…. we will come to know which Austrian city will host Eurovision 2026. Innsbruck and Vienna are battling for the coveted role to host Eurovision 2026.
ORF’s General Director Mr.Roland Weißmann will make the official announcement on Ö3 Wecker Radio, ORF’s Good Morning Austria show on ORF 2 and on the Official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube Channel at 08:15 CET.
The Ö3 alarm clock team will be reporting live from the 2 potential host cites: Gabi Hiller will report in the morning from the Alpine city of Innsbruck, whilst Philipp Hansa will be reporting from the majestic capital of Austria, Vienna.
ORF and the EBU will be unveiling the ESC 2026 Host City today at 08:15 CET via the following channels:

- Official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube Channel
ORF and the EBU will be also confirming the dates for the 2026 ESC edition either: 12, 14 and 16 May or 19, 21 and 23 May.
Innsbruck is bidding to host the ESC 2026 at the Olympia Halle with the slogan ‘Together On Top‘, whilst Vienna is bidding to host ESC 2026 at the Wiener Stadthalle and the slogan ‘Europe, Shall We Dance?’
After the official announcement of the ESC 2026 Host City, ORF and the ESC 2026 Host City will be holding a press conference at 16:00 CET where either the Mayor of Vienna or the Mayor of Innsbruck will give further details on their respective city’s Eurovision 2026 concept, project and plan of action. ORF and EBU officials will be also present at the said press conference.
