The compilation album Eurosong for kids, with the 10 songs that competed to represent Belgium at the first ever Junior Eurovision Song Contest is the best selling album of 2003 in Flanders (Belgium)!
The Eurosong for kids album has sold not less than 60.000 copies or double platinum and already is for 14 weeks in the top 10 of the Ultratop, the official Flemish album charts, including two weeks at number 1. The young talents sold more than Helmut Lotti, Norah Jones, Dido, Moloko and the Idols compilation album.
And that�s not all yet. Flemish broadcaster VRT will release a double DVD at the end of January including the Eurosong for kids live television shows, the reports and the video clips of all songs.
VRT succeeded to make Eurosong for kids a big success; a good example for Walloon broadcaster RTBF that is responsible for the Belgian representative at the 2004 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Manchester, United Kingdom.
